2008: Started all 12 games at the tight end position... Finished second on the team in catches (38) and third in yards (435)... Had a career-best five catches at Texas A&M, Colorado and Kansas totalling 159 yards... Recorded his first collegiate TD at Louisville, a 52-yarder... Found the endzone again against Oklahoma, with two catches for 36 yards... Averaged 11.4 yards a catch and 36.2 yards a game... Needs just 14 more yards to have 1,000 yards receiving for his career... An Academic All-Big, All-District and All-America selection.

2007: Saw  action in all 12 games with nine starts... Started 19 of the first 24 games of his career... Finished season as team’s fourth-leading receiver with 30 catches for 316 yards... Grabbed four balls for 43 yards at Auburn... Caught four passes for a season-high 67 yards at Oklahoma State... Caught three passes for 38 yards against Kansas.. Grabbed five balls for 49 yards against San Jose State... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

2006: Saw action in 12 games with eight starts as one of the top true freshmen tight ends in the nation... One of nine true freshmen to play and one of four to start a game for the Wildcats... Finished fifth on the team with 17 receptions for 235 yards... Caught at least one pass in nine games, including multiple grabs in four games... Chalked up two receptions of 20-plus yards... Best game of the year came at Kansas, where he had five catches for 103 yards, both career-highs... His career-long 66-yard reception at Kansas on the first offensive play of the game was the fourth-longest play from scrimmage during the season for K-State and the third-longest pass completion... Had two catches for 37 yards in the win over No. 4 Texas... Snagged three balls for 31 yards against Iowa State and had two catches for 25 yards vs. Louisville.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played quarterback, tight end and defensive end during his career at Southridge High School... Helped lead his team to a 9-2 record, the program’s first-ever Metro League championship and a berth in the second round of the Oregon 4A playoffs in 2005... Named third-team all-state at defensive end by the Portland Oregonian... Also earned first team All-Portland Metro League honors as a defensive end and second team all-league accolades at tight end... Completed 49-of-82 attempts for 731 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior season as a part-time quarterback... Coached by Brad Mastrud.
