2008: Played in all 12 games for the second consecutive season, starting 11 of them... Recorded the sixth-most tackles on the team with 52, 27 unassisted and 25 assisted... Also an honorable mention All-Big 12 performer... Carded seven tackles, including 2.5 TFLs and a sack, while he forced one fumble vs. Nebraska... His 2.5 TFLs against the Huskers were the most in Big 12 play that week ... Tallied a career-best 12 stops at Missouri... Also had one tackle for loss and a pass breakup against the Tigers... Recorded four tackles, including one for a loss, vs. Oklahoma... Had six stops, including a half tackle for a loss, at Colorado... Turned in three tackles, including a career-best 1.5 sacks, at Texas A&M... Had six tackles against Texas Tech... Totaled four tackles against North Texas.

2007: Appeared in all 12 games, making nine starts and totaling 36 tackles... Earned first career start as a linebacker at Auburn, finishing with three tackles... Also had three tackles against Texas and four against Kansas and Colorado... Carded three tackles, including one for a loss and a forced fumble against Baylor... Registered a career-high six tackles at Iowa State, followed by four stops at Nebraska.

2006: Played in all 13 games at defensive end, with one start... Made his first career start against Oklahoma State... Tallied 17 tackles, including a pair of sacks... Collected at least one tackle in each of the first 10 games of the year... Had a career-high four tackles against OSU and matched that total against Nebraska... Also credited with a tackle for loss against the Huskers... Collected his first career sack against Florida Atlantic and added another at Baylor... Made one tackle against Illinois State in his K-State debut.

2005: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year starter at MacArthur High School... Helped the Cardinals to a 10-1 record, the 2004 District 6-5A championship and a No. 8 ranking in the final regular-season Texas class 5A poll as a senior... Finished 2004 with 68 total tackles... Collected 11 tackles for losses, with four sacks, two pass break-ups and a fumble recovery... Earned second team All-Texas 5A honors from 5Atexasfootball.com and was named to the District 6-5A first team... Earned all-city honors and was named the team’s defensive lineman of the year... Played in the Coca-Cola High School All-Star Football Game... Totaled 46 tackles with five sacks as a junior in 2003... Earned honorable mention All-District 8-5A honors... An All-Midlands selection by PrepStar... Rated the No. 39 prospect in the Metro area by the Dallas Morning News and the No. 88 rated prospect in the Texas Top 100... Also pegged among the top 100 players in the state of Texas by the Houston Chronicle and Fort Worth Star-Telegram... Rated the No. 59 “athlete” nationally by Rivals... Coached by David Beaty.
