A space-eater in the middle who is solid against both the run and pass... A regular member of K-State’s eight-man defensive line rotation for the past three seasons.

2006: A mainstay in the middle of the Wildcats’ defensive line for three seasons... Appeared in all 12 games during 2006 and started six... Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors from The Associated Press... Totaled 31 tackles, four for losses, and has forced two fumbles on the year... Collected at least one tackles in all 12 games this season... Has 24 tackles and two forced fumbles in his last 10 games of the year... Made his first start this season at Baylor... Had a season-high four tackles twice this season, against Florida Atlantic and Louisville... Had three stops and a sack at Colorado... Collected four tackles, two for losses, against FAU... Had three tackles, one for a loss, in the season opener against Illinois State... Started all 11 games during 2005 and collected 45 tackles... One of 18 Texans on the Wildcats' roster.

2005: Started all 11 games... Finished sixth on the team in total tackles with 45... Tied for fourth on the squad in tackles for loss with 5.5, including 1.5 sacks... Earned K-State’s team award for Most Outstanding Front Seven Player... Collected a season-high seven total tackles vs. both Colorado and Missouri... 2004: Saw action in all 11 games, with starts in the first two games of the season... Credited with 16 total tackles, including eight solos... Also had 1.5 tackles for loss, with a six-yard sack... Made four total stops against Fresno State... Team’s third-leading tackler at Missouri with a season-high four solos, including a six-yard sack.

2003: Saw action in all 15 games... Totaled 21 tackles on the year, including two sacks... Collected a season-best four total tackles against McNeese State (9/6), including two solos and a forced fumble... Registered three tackles, including his first career sack, vs. Cal.

2002: Redshirted.

High School: Defensive MVP in District 7-4A... Two-time team captain and four-year starter Wyatt High School... Ranked 40th nationally among prospects at DT by Rivals.com... Was 52nd among Texas state prospects in SuperPrep magazine... All-Midlands Region selection by PrepStar... Coca-Cola All-Star Game participant... Finished senior season with 71 tackles, 11 sacks and three fumble recoveries... Had 69 tackles, including seven sacks as junior... Also had a pair of interceptions as a junior and returned one 66 yards for a TD... High school coach was Lewis Hayes... Also lettered in track and field... District shot put champion in 2000 and 2001... Placed third at 2001 Texas Relays and had longest throw in the Metroplex area at 62-0.50.
