Lightning-quick linebacker who plays bigger than his size... Is extremely athletic and possess a nose for the football.

2006: Appeared in all 12 games at linebacker and special teams... Has collected 10 total tackles, four solo and six assisted, with one forced fumble and fumble recovery... Forced and recovered a fumble on the same play against Louisville... Led the Wildcats with seven tackles against Florida Atlantic... Also collected tackles against Marshall, Louisville and Baylor... Speedy linebacker who is a converted safety... Finished third on the team with 53 tackles, including seven for a losses, in 2005... Married with two children.

2005: Started all 11 games at weakside linebacker after moving over from strong safety during the spring... Finished third on the team in total tackles with 53, including 31 solos... Ranked second on the squad in tackles for loss with 7.0... Also had four pass break-ups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery... Had a season-high nine tackles against both Marshall and Texas A&M... Effort vs. the Aggies included six solo stops, while outing at Marshall included two TFLs... Also had a strong outing vs. Colorado with eight tackles (six solo) and one TFL.

2004: Saw action in all 11 games... Collected 23 tackles, including 11 solos... Tallied first career interception vs. Fresno State... Collected a season-best seven total stops, including five solos, and two pass break-ups vs. Oklahoma... Recovered a fumble vs. Nebraska.

2003: Appeared in all 15 games, primarily on special teams... Also saw action as a reserve defensive back... Credited with 13 total tackles, including nine solos... Had three unassisted stops vs. Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game... Also posted a three-tackle effort vs. McNeese State... Averaged 23.0 yards on three kickoff returns, including a career-long 37 yarder vs. Ohio State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

2002: Redshirted.

High School: Prepped at Olathe North High School... Won the 2001 Tony Simone Award as top player in the Kansas City Metro area... Player of the Year and All-Metro honoree by Kansas City Star, K.C. Sports and Fitness Magazine and MetroSports... Kansas Class 6A Offensive Player of the Year... Member of Kansas Top 11 team named by Topeka Capital-Journal... Super 11 pick by the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame... Ranked 54th in SuperPrep’s Midlands region list... All-Midlands Region DB selection by PrepStar magazine... First team All-State, All-Metro and All-Sunflower League as junior and senior... Eagles were back-to-back Kansas Class 6A champions in 2000 and 2001... Rushed for 2,089 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior... Also went 3-for-3 passing for three TDs... Was the third-leading tackler on the team as a DB with four interceptions... Rushed for 979 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior... Combined for five interceptions his sophomore and junior years... High school coach was Gene Weir... Also lettered three years in basketball and four years in track.

Personal: Born Sept. 11, 1983, in Kansas City, Kan... Parents are Melvin and Rosie Mack... Has two older siblings... Major is social science.
