Excellent pass-catching tight end who possesses good hands and excellent blocking skills.

2007: Excellent pass-catching tight end... Honorable mention All-Big 12 performer as a fullback... Grabbed 2 receptions for 14 yards at Auburn... Followed that up with 4 receptions for 26 yards against San Jose State... Hauled in 3 receptions at Texas and Oklahoma State... Collected 2 receptions for a career-high 41 yards at Iowa State... Grabbed 3 balls for 27 yards against Missouri.

2006: Saw action in 10-of-13 games, including starts against Oklahoma State and Texas... Hauled in six catches for 24 yards... Caught his first pass as a Wildcat against Louisville... Had a career-best three catches for 12 yards at Colorado... Snagged one ball for seven yards in the Texas Bowl vs. Rutgers.

Junior College: Earned second team NJCAA All-America honors and was a first team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference selection as a sophomore at NEO... Rated as the nation’s No. 97 overall junior college prospect by Rivals.com... Started all 12 games for the Golden Norseman in 2005, helping lead NEO to a 9-3 record... Caught 22 passes for 291 yards and a touchdown, including four receptions for 43 yards in NEO’s bowl win over Mississippi Golf Coast in the Dalton Defenders Bowl...Also returned three kickoffs for 25 yards during 2005 and served as NEO’s long-snapper... Appeared primarily on special teams as a freshman... Coached by Rob Green.

High School: A highly touted prep performer while at Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur High School... Was selected as the District 5A-1 Player of the Year after helping lead the Highlanders to an appearance in the 2003 Oklahoma Class 5A state championship game... Had 24 catches for 319 yards and a touchdown as a tight end on offense and a team-high 183 tackles and five sacks from his linebacker spot on the defensive side of the ball as a senior in 2003... Was equally as impressive as a junior, collecting 154 tackles, six sacks and two interceptions on defense, while grabbing 13 passes for 151 yards on the offensive side of the ball...
