2006: Started the final four games of the season and appeared in eight overall... Picked up his second straight second team Academic All-Big 12 citation... Recorded a huge pancake block to spring Leon Patton on his 8-yard touchdown run against Texas... Sprung James Johnson on his 32-yard TD run vs. Iowa State with a great seal block.

2005: Earned second team Academic All-Big 12 second honors... Played in one game as a reserve offensive lineman vs. North Texas... Drilled at both center and tackle.

2004: Appeared in one game as a reserve offensive lineman against Louisiana-Lafayette.

2003: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered four years and was All-Cheyenne Conference three seasons Eastern Heights High School... All-league on offensive line and as a linebacker as a senior... Had 104 tackles as senior, including 51 solos... All-league pick on O-line as junior and on both lines as a sophomore... Twice named all-state offensive lineman... Played 8-man football as a prep but was often held out of practice for fear of injuring his teammates... Coached by James Burk... All-conference pick four seasons in basketball and an honorable mention all-state player... Won state title in shot put and was fifth in discus.
