2004: Redshirted... Earned K-State’s Overachiever Award as the top freshman in strength and conditioning.

High School: Three-year starter at Conway Springs High School... Earned a three-star rating as the No. 5 center in the country from Rivals.com to go with All-Midlands region honors from Prepstar... Named honorable mention 3A all-state honors from the Topeka Capital-Journal and the Wichita Eagle as a senior... Twice earned first team All-Central Plains League selection... Selected to play in the 2004 Kansas Shrine Bowl, the Down Under Bowl and the Kamehameha Pigskin Classic...
