2006: One of the Big 12’s most versatile linemen and the anchor of the Wildcats' front wall... Named to the Kansas City Star All-Big 12 second team and Coaches All-Big 12 honorable mention sqaud... The only K-State offensive lineman to start all 12 games... Opened at left guard for the first five games of the season before sliding out to left tackle for the final seven games of the year... Consistently graded out as the Wildcats’ top offensive lineman... Helped K-State average 150 rushing yards over the final five games of the season... Was flagged for just two penalties on the year, including just one hold, despite being on the field for over 95 percent of Kansas State’s 742 offensive snaps... Did not commit a penalty in any of the final six games of the regular season... Yielded just two sacks, despite lining up against the opponent’s top defensive end in most games... Totaled 21 knockdown blocks and 13 pancake blocks on the year... Earned a spot on the preseason watch lists for both the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy... 2004: Appeared in the Louisiana-Lafayette game as a reserve.

Junior College: Started one year at Trinity Valley JC... Coached by Mark Sartain... An All-Southwestern Conference honorable mention choice.

High School: Started and lettered one season at Lancaster High School... Also involved with track and field...Texas class 4A shot put champion.
