2007: Named second team All-Big 12 from the league’s coaches and honorable mention from the Associated Press... Started 25 of his last 28 games, including all 12 games in 2007... Finished as the team’s leading tackler with 74 stops... Led the Wildcats in passes defended with 12... Totaled 7 tackles at Nebraska... Picked off 1 pass and recorded 7 tackles at Iowa State... Turned in 4 tackles at Oklahoma State and against Missouri... Collected a career-high 12 tackles (10 solo) against Colorado... Also returned a first-quarter interception 32 yards against the Buffs... Had 5 tackles against Kansas and Texas...Picked off his first pass of the season against the Longhorns... Led the team with 9 tackles against San Jose State and Auburn.

2006: Started 12-of-13 games at cornerback, with his only miss coming vs. Florida Atlantic after he returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown... Ranked sixth on the team with 54 total tackles and fourth on the squad with 39 unassisted stops... Collected at least one tackle in 12-of-13 games and had two or more stops 11 times... Led the Wildcats in pass break-ups with eight and tied for the team lead in forced fumbles with two... Also recovered a pair of fumbles... Had a team-high 12 kickoff returns for a 24.7-yard average with one touchdown... Became the first K-State player in 70 years to return a game's opening kickoff for a touchdown with his 88-yarder against FAU... Registered a career-high nine tackles and had two break-ups in the opener vs. Illinois State... Credited with a eight tackles and forced a fumble at Kansas... Had a big game in the Texas Bowl vs. Rutgers with seven stops and a tackle for loss... Also had seven tackles at Baylor... Registered six tackles and a pass break-up against both Nebraska and Missouri... Tallied a pair of pass break-ups against Iowa State.

2005: Played in all 11 games, with three starts... Saw extensive playing time in nickel and dime coverage packages... Finished the season with 29 tackles, including 24 solo stops... Recorded two TFLs... Far and away led the team in passes defended with nine, including a team-best three interceptions... Forced two fumbles and had a recovery... Credited with a season-high seven tackles (six solo) at Texas Tech... Also had five solos vs. Colorado... Collected two of his three picks at Marshall, including one on the Herd’s final play of the game at K-State’s 12-yard line to preserve a win.

Junior College: Played only the 2004 season at Garden City Community College, starting 10 games... Redshirted in 2003... Accounted for 56 total tackles as a redshirt freshman... Had five interceptions to rank sixth in NJCAA Region VI... Honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference pick... Coached by Robert Larson.

High School: Lettered four seasons and started three at Seminole High School... All-Southeast Region pick by PrepStar magazine... First team 6A all-state selection at DB... Also earned first team All-Seminole County and all-conference honors... Had 79 tackles with five interceptions and a pair of touchdowns as a senior... Credited with 57 tackles and six interceptions and five touchdowns as a junior... High school coach was Jim Bernhard.
