Physical linebacker who will look to assume a leadership role in K-State’s defense... Proven tackler who also runs well in pass coverage... Could be poised for a big senior season.

2007: Saw action in all 12 games with seven starts... Was fourth on the team with 65 stops... Garnered honorable mention All-Big 12 honors from the coaches... Recorded 5 tackles against Missouri and Fresno State... Had 7 tackles against both Nebraska and Iowa State... Recorded 6 tackles, including 2.0 for losses, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble against Baylor... Tied for the team lead with 7 stops at Oklahoma State... Had 6 stops against Colorado.. Recorded 4 tackles, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble against Kansas... Had a career-high 9 tackles against Texas... Picked off first-career interception and recorded first sack of career against Auburn... Had 6 total tackles against the Tigers...

2006: Saw action in all 13 games with nine starts... Tied for seventh on the team with 36 total tackles, including a tackle for loss... Registered  three or more tackles in nine different games... Made four stops in his first career start against Illinois State... Had a solid outing in the Texas Bowl vs. Rutgers with four solo tackles... Also came up with four stops against Louisville, Nebraska and Colorado and three vs. FAU and Iowa State.

2005: Earned playing time in nine games... Recorded 16 tackles with 4.5 tackles for losses... Totaled five tackles (four solos) at Nebraska, including two for losses on consecutive plays, with the last one resulting in a safety when he ran down Husker running back Cory Ross on a swing pass in the end zone... Also had five tackles (four solos)  with a TFL and a forced fumble vs. Missouri.

High School: Started three years at Grant High School and was one of the top linebackers in the state of California... Helped lead the Pacers to a 9-2 record and a Metro Conference title in 2004... Finished senior season with 113 tackles, 21 for loss... Forced six fumbles and recovered four... Earned first team Division I All-CIF Sac-Joaquin Section honors... Named first team All-Metro by the Sacramento Bee... Also a first team All-Metro Conference selection and the league’s defensive MVP... Helped Grant to a 12-2 mark and the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I title in 2003... Collected 144 tackles, seven sacks, and four forced fumbles as junior.... Returned two fumbles for TDs... Named first team All-Metro Conference... Coached by Mike Alberghini... Was also an all-conference selection in rugby.

Personal: Reggie Walker was born Dec. 15, 1986, in Fairbanks, Alaska... Parents are Reggie Sr. and Myra Walker... A family studies major... Involved with the math honors club at Grant... Grew up in Missouri before moving to Sacramento just prior to starting high school.
