2003 (Junior): Was one of the team’s most improved offensive linemen... Started all 15 games at left tackle... Received honorable mention All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches... The former tight end picked up his first career pass reception for three yards against Baylor (11/1), becoming the first lineman in the Bill Snyder era to catch a pass...  Blocked for the ninth-ranked scoring offense (36.6 points) and rushing offense (228.6 yards/game) in the country... K-State's offensive line also ranked first in the Big 12 in sack allowed per game (1.27)...Helped Darren Sproles become the nation's leading rusher with 1,986 yards... Also helped Sproles set single-season and single game (273 yards vs. Missouri) K-State records.

2002 (Sophomore): Played in eight games as a backup O-lineman for Wildcats, including action in the first six games of the year... In the mix for an offensive line that blocked for the first duo of 1,000-yard rushers in school history in Darren Sproles and Ell Roberson.

2001 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in five games on the offensive line... Saw action vs. New Mexico State (9/22), Texas A&M (10/20), Kansas (10/27), Iowa State (11/3) and Louisiana Tech (11/17)... Blocked for a running game that broke a nearly 50-year-old school record for rushing yards per game with a 257.7 average... The team’s per-game rushing average was 30 yards better than the school-record average of 227.4 set in 1953... The offense ranked fourth nationally both in rushing offense and rushing touchdowns (34).

2000 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Dowling HS: Was a two-year starter for the Maroons... Honorable mention All-USA by USA Today... Earned first team All-Central Iowa Metro League honors in 1998 and 1999 by coaches...  All-Midlands pick by SuperPrep... Preseason All-Midwest pick by PrepStar... Iowa’s No. 1 prospect by First Down Recruiting... High school coach was Matt Dillion.
