2002 (Sophomore): Played in the first 11 games of the season... Finished with 14 tackles, including eight assists and six solos... Best game of season was 2-3-5 outing vs. Iowa State... Credited with a 15-yard sack at Baylor... Had eight tackles in back-to-back games at Kansas and vs. Iowa State... Credited with a 17-yard punt return when he blocked a fourth-quarter punt against Iowa State.

2001 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in eight games as a reserve defensive end... Recorded five tackles, including three solo stops, on the year... Posted a career-high four tackles vs. New Mexico State (9/22)... Also tallied one tackle vs. Colorado (10/06)... saw action on special teams.

Cypress Falls HS: Was a two-year starter for the Golden Eagles... Was a preseason All-America pick in 1999... All-District 16-5A pick in 1998... Team MVP as a senior... Had 10 sacks as a junior... Had 54 tackles, including six sacks, with four fumbles caused and three fumble recoveries in 1999... Had 21 receptions for 370 yards and four TDs as a senior tight end... High school coach was Wayne Hooks.
