Physically gifted player with excellent work habits... A converted defensive lineman who has seen time at both center and guard on offense... Will compete for a starting roll this fall.

2008: Started five straight games beginning with Lousiana, two at left guard and then three at center, before not playing at Kansas... In the five games he started the offense managed 2,114 yards, averaging 422 yards per game... The Wildcats ran for over 100 yards in four of the games in which he started.

2007: Did not see any game action as a member of the squad.

2006: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Harrisonville High School to three straight Class 3 state title game appearances, including state championships in both 2003 and 2005... Overall, Harrisonville posted a combined 39-3 record during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Selected as the 2005 Missouri Class 3 Defensive Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association... Also a Class 3A all-state first teamer as a senior by the Kansas City Star and the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association... Collected 74 tackles, including nine sacks and two fumble recoveries en route to all-state accolades as a junior... Had 46 stops with seven sacks as a sophomore... Coached by Fred Bouchard... Also lettered in basketball and track & field as a prep.
