One of the top cornerbacks in the league with his speed and lock down coverage ability... All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection a year ago and returns as the team’s leading tackler from last season.

2008: Started all 12 games and led the team in tackles with 76, including 53 solos... Tallied 10 tackles vs. Nebraska, including one for a loss and one breakup... Carded eight stops, including 1.5 for loss and one breakup, at Missouri... Recorded a career-high three passes defended vs. Oklahoma... Had a monstrous game at Colorado, recording a career-best 13 tackles, while also intercepting a pass and recovering a fumble... Had nine tackles at Texas A&M... Brought down the ball carrier six times  against Iowa State... Finished with three interceptions and 12 pass break ups... Earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention Team.

2007: Redshirted.

2006: Played in all 13 games with starts in each of the last five games of the season... Earned freshman All-Big 12 and honorable mention All-America accolades from The Sporting News... Finished 10th on the team with 35 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles for losses... Also had an interception and tied for second on the squad in pass break-ups with five... Made first career start vs. Iowa State... Had a huge game in the Texas Bowl vs. Rutgers with a season-high seven tackles (six solo) and two break-ups in the end zone... Collected five stops and his first career interception at Kansas... Credited with four tackles at Colorado... Made four stops at Missouri and had a solid game at Baylor, finishing with two tackles and a pass break-up... Had a break-out game vs. Florida Atlantic with six tackles, including two for losses.

HIGH SCHOOL: Anchored a talented Ely defense as a junior and senior... Named first team All-Broward County by the Miami Herald as a senior... Helped Ely to an 8-3 record and a berth in the quarterfinals of the state 6A playoffs... Also earned all-area honors as a junior and was named team most valuable player in 2004... Collected 60 tackles and 10 interceptions as a junior, the second most in Broward County... Helped Ely to a berth in the 2004 semifinals of the 6A state playoffs... Coached by Greg McGirt.

PERSONAL: Joshua J. Moore was born Aug. 20, 1988, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla... Parents are Jeff and Clarletha Moore... Selected K-State over offers from Florida State, Akron and Louisiana-Lafayette... Also received recruiting interest from Florida and Miami (FL).
