A quick yet deceptively powerful running back... Expected to be in the mix for serious playing time after a solid freshman campaign.

2005: Played in nine games with one start... Finished second on the team in rushing, totaling 289 yards on 48 attempts... Became the first freshman in the Bill Snyder era to start at tailback in win over North Texas... Rushed for a K-State freshman-record 169 yards on 21 carries, including a 63-yard run, and also caught two passes for 59 yards vs. the Mean Green to earn Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors... Compiled 74 yards on 14 carries in first-ever college game vs. Florida International.

2004: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered three years and started two at J.J. Pearce High School... Selected as the No. 24 running back in the nation by Rivals.com and the No. 91 running back by TheInsiders.com... Teamed up with Oklahoma's Adrian Peterson on Texas Sports magazine's 2003 High School All-Class Super Team... Tapped as the No. 47 player in the state of Texas by Rivals.com... A Prepstar All-American... Ranked as the No. 17 player in the Dallas Metroplex by the Dallas Morning News and the No. 43 player in the state of Texas... A 2003 honorable mention 4A all-state selection by the Texas Sports Writers Association... A two-time first team all-district and all-city pick... District, city and team offensive MVP as a senior... Also served as team captain... Rushed for 1,914 yards as a senior and 1,700 yards as a junior... Accounted for 33 rushing touchdowns in his two years as a starter, including 17 in 2003... Had 19 receptions for 145 yards and a touchdown as a senior after hauling in four catches for 80 yards as a junior... Led Pearce to an 8-4 record and a berth in the 2003 Class 4A Division I Region II semifinals... Coached by Bobby Reyes... Attended the same high school as Hollywood and music star Jessica Simpson.

Personal: Parrish Anthony Fisher was born Nov. 2, 1985, in Monterrey, Calif... Son of Jeff Fisher and Sheril Gardner... Has one brother... Major is undeclared, but hopes to pursue a career in broadcasting following college.
