2007: Handled K-State’s kickoff duties in seven games... Kicked off 39 times for 2,331 yards (59.8 avg.) with five touchbacks... Also recorded two tackles in kickoff coverage.

2006: Handled K-State’s kickoff duties in nine games... Kicked off 32 times for 1,812 yards (56.6 avg.) with 10 touchbacks... The only kicker in the Big 12 to pull off two on-side kicks, including recovering his own try against Colorado.

2005: Appeared in one game... Averaged 63.5 yards on two kickoffs vs. North Texas, with a touchback... Also recorded a tackle vs. UNT.

2004: Redshirted.

High School: A two-year starter at Ankeny High School... Rated as the No. 11 place-kicker in the country by Rivals.com... A second-team Class 4A all-state selection by the Des Moines Register... Earned first team all-conference accolades as both a junior and senior... Connected on 7-of-9 field goals, with a long of 49 yards, and 39-of-40 PATs during the 2003 regular season... Helped Ankeny to an 11-1 overall record and a berth in the Class 4A state semifinals... Was good on seven attempts, including a 54 yarder, and 32-of-33 PATs as a junior... Coached by Jerry Pizzetti.

Personal: Jared Blake Parker was born June 3, 1986, in Des Moines, Iowa... Son of Randy and Chris Parker... Major is kinesiology... Plans on pursuing a career in physical therapy or orthopaedic medicine.
