Honorable mention all-state punter by the Topeka Capital-Journal as a senior... High school coach was Butch Albright... Also lettered two years in track and two years in baseball.

Personal: Born Sept. 22, 1984, in Manhattan, Kan., to Phil and Karen Brokenicky... A National Honors Society member... Major is finance.
