2008: Walk-on who took over the punting duties after drilling at wide receiver... Punted 33 times for 1,256 yards in nine games... Averaged 38.1 yards a kick on the season... Had six kicks downed inside the 20-yard line... Punted five times for a 38.6-yard average at Missouri... Hit two  punts for a 45.5-yard average at Louisville... Called on to pin Louisiana inside the 20-yard line twice... Hit a career-long 55-yarder vs. Texas Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years and started three for the Beloit Trojans under coach Jon Bingesser... Honorable mention all-Kansas Class 3A running back by the Topeka Capital-Journal... Selected all-league first team punter his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Averaged over 40 yards per punt as a senior... Rushed for 700 yards and compiled 500 receiving yards a senior... Also lettered four years in basketball and track & field, helping Beloit capture two state track titles.

PERSONAL: Darrell John Fulhage was born Feb. 20, 1988... Son of Scott and Cyndy Fulhage... Has one sibling, Camille... Majoring in education, with the intent to become a history teacher and coach... Father played at K-State and then went on to play in the NFL for the Falcons and Bengals... Involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
