2008: Saw the most action of his career against North Texas, going 9-for-18 for 74 yards... Had a great game vs. Nebraska, going 5-for-8 for 74 yards and one rushing TD... Also threw a career-long 51-yard pass... Threw his first career TD pass at Missouri... Completed 25 passes on 41 attempts and one touchdown for the season.

2007: Appeared in four games on the season in a reserve role... Was 3-for-5 passing for 22 yards on the season with a long of 12 yards... Completed his first career pass against Missouri State... His eight-yard completion to Jordy Nelson against Baylor gave the wide receiver the K-State record for catches in a season.

2006: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Raymore-Peculiar High School, where he was a two-year starter at quarterback... Threw for 3,196 yards, 42 touchdowns and just eight interceptions as a prep... Led Ray-Pec to Class 5 state championships in 2004 and 2005... Picked up all-conference and all-state honors as both a junior and senior... Named the Missouri Class 5 Offensive Player of the Year in 2005... Coached by Tom Kruse.

PERSONAL: Carson Thomas Coffman was born April 29, 1988... Son of Paul and Amy Coffman... Father, Paul, played tight end at K-State for three seasons (1975-77), followed by an 11-year career in the NFL... Brother, Chase, was a standout tight end at Missouri.
