2008: Appeared in three games on the Wildcat defensive line... Had three total tackles, one solo and two assisted.

2007: Appeared in two games, making his first career start in the season finale at Fresno State... Saw his first career action against Missouri, finishing with one tackle... Closed the season with three tackles at Fresno State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Had a breakout senior season at Morgan Park High School in 2006 after sitting out his junior campaign... Helped the Mustangs to an 8-5 record and a berth in the Illinois Class 7A semifinals... Collected 110 tackles and 11 sacks to spearhead a defense that allowed just 14.8 points per game... Coached by Lexie Spurlock.

PERSONAL: Xzavier Stewart was born March 24, 1989... Son of Debra Shelby... Selected K-State over offers from Minnesota and Northern Illinois... Also received interest from Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Central Michigan during the recruiting process.
