Junor College: Started two seasons Sacramento City College... Earned first team All-Mid-Empire Conference honors as a sophomore in 2006... Helped lead Sac City to a 7-4 record (4-1 MEC), a victory over Feather River in the Capital Shrine Bowl and a No. 16 ranking in the final 2006 Northern California Community College poll... Anchored an offensive line that gave up just 21 sacks in 11 games (1.9 avg.)... Helped the Panthers average 358.3 yards of total offense per game in 2005... Coached by 2006 Mid-Empire Conference coach of the year Mike Clemons.

High School: Started all for years at Luther Burbank High School... Played both defensive end and offensive line and earned all-league honors... Coached by John Heffernan.

Personal: Penisini “Ben” Liu was born August 19, 1985, in Sacramento, Calif... Parents are Seluini Liu and Mele Liu... Father was a professional wrestler in the early 1980s... The youngest of five children... Has two children of his own, Villiami and Isea... Plans to major in social science.
