2008: Former backup quarterback who moved to the secondary prior to the Louisiana game... Appeared in all 12 games, starting the final eight... Finished the season with 49 total tackles, 32 solo... Recorded six stops at Kansas... Recorded a career-best nine tackles against Nebraska... Was second on the team in tackles against Texas Tech with eight, including six solos... Came back with another eight stops at Texas A&M... Was in the top three in tackles  for the Wildcats four times... Also converted first downs on three fake punts, rushing for a total of 13 yards... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 selection.

2007: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter at both quarterback and defensive back at Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School... Led the Crusaders to a 5-5 record, a district title and a berth in the Kansas 5A playoffs in 2006... Amassed 1,652 yards of total offense as a senior... Threw for 978 yards and 11 touchdowns on 78-for-146 passing, while rushing for 674 yards and six scores on 74 attempts... Earned first team 5A all-state honors at defensive back from the Topeka Capital-Journal, Wichita Eagle and the KFCA... Named second team all-city and honorable mention all-state as a quarterback... Completed 104-of-193 passes for 1,420 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior... Also rushed for 382 yards and 11 TDs on 60 attempts during the 2005 season... PERSONAL: Tysyn Hartman was born August 9, 1989, in Hays, Kan... An open option major... Parents are Frank and Karin Delarue... Has a younger brother, Frank, a running back for the Wildcats... Father, Kerry Henderson, played running back at Texas Southern and briefly with the N.Y. Jets.
