Sophomore (2008): Played in 48 games, earning 45 starts, primarily in left field... Hit .268 with six doubles and 15 RBI... Was 18-for-22 in stolen base attempts, which tied the team lead and tied for fourth in the Big 12... Went on an 18-game hitting streak from March 18 against BYU until going hitless against Baylor on April 13... The 18-game hit streak was the fourth longest in school history... Was 3-for-4 with one run scored against Lamar on March 1... Went 2-for-4 with two RBI against Oklahoma State on March 29... Also had another two RBI against Central Arkansas on April 2... Had a great series against Texas A&M as he went 6-for-12, including a 3-for-4 day in the series finale on April 6... Came back with another 3-for-4 performance against Wichita State on April 8, raising his average to a season-best .349... Recorded a season-best six putouts at Creighton on April 15.

Redshirt Freshman (2007): Appeared in 43 games, starting 38... Hit .294 – the third best on the team – with six doubles, three triples and one home run, while driving in 20 RBI... Also excelled with runners in scoring position, hitting .333... Had 10 stolen bases in 11 attempts... Was also productive in situational hitting, generating seven sacrifice hits and one sacrifice fly...  Reached the four-hit mark in two games, against Oklahoma State on April 15 and against Chicago State on May 2... Also had four three-hit games, including going 3-for-5 with a career-high four RBI in the Big 12 Tournament against Texas... Went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and three runs scored against St. John’s... Ended the season on fire, going 29-for-78 (.372) over his last 20 games.

Freshman (2006): Redshirted during the 2006 season.

Millard North HS: A two-year letterwinner at Millard North High School in Omaha, Neb., under coach Dave Cork... Received second team all-state and all-metro honors... Played second base for Nebraska Class A high school baseball championship team... Team was ranked third in the country by USA Today... Team went 38-0 en route to 2005 state title.
