As a Freshman (2004)
Appeared in 33 games, starting 29 at third, short and second base... Hit .172 with 17 hits, three doubles, a triple and 14 RBI... In first collegiate start against Ohio State at Minute Maid Park, went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBI... Then went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI in a win over Eastern Illinois... Had a career-high three hits in a 3-for-4 performance against Buffalo... Scored a career-best three runs in game two of a double-header against Buffalo... Finished the Buffalo series 6-for-11 with six runs scored and an RBI... Collected the game-winning hit in a 3-2 win at No. 9 Texas A&M with a single to right in the ninth inning... Collected five multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games.

At Lyons and Maize High Schools
A three-year starter at Lyons High School and one-year starter at Maize High School in Maize, Kan... Played for coach Rocky Helm... Played with fellow K-State teammate Matt Marasco... Hit .408 with two homers and 22 RBI as a sophomore at Lyons... Also compiled a 3.28 ERA on the mound during sophomore season...
