Letter from A.D. John Currie -- April 27

Dear Wildcat Nation,

First off, thank you to all the fans who were in attendance at this past weekend's Purple/White game. Coach Snyder and our student-athletes have worked very hard this spring and the progress in the program under his leadership is evident!

We are at a very important time of the year as many of our sports are heading into postseason play and all of our student-athletes are preparing for final exams. At Kansas State, we take great pride in our goal of providing a world-class student-athlete experience and the total development of our student-athletes, both on the field and in the classroom.

Yesterday I had the fortune to attend our Career Cats luncheon. Over 35 Wildcat student-athletes came in their business attire to do practice interviews with nearly 30 companies. All our fans should be proud of these young people. We appreciate the many employers who took time to participate as well.

Immediately before the luncheon I hosted an online chat which you can read at kstatesports.com. In addition to the topics covered yesterday here are some other items I want to share with you.

Letter from A.D. John Currie -- April 12

Dear Wildcat Fans,

Greetings from Manhattan! As we get ready to head into the stretch run of the spring sports season we have lots going on to share, but let's pause for a moment once more to recognize our men's basketball team's record-breaking season and great run. Coach Martin and his staff, our terrific players, and of course our passionate Wildcat fans showcased K-State to the nation all year! See below for details about opportunities to greet and thank the team later this month.

Here are a few updates from the department:
