Letter from A.D. John Currie - September 21

Good Afternoon Wildcat Nation!

It's time for Big 12 Conference play as both our football and volleyball programs are now entering league action. Coach Fritz's No. 11 volleyball squad is off to a 12-1 start and will host Nebraska-Omaha tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Ahearn before welcoming West Virginia next Thursday night, September 27, for the Mountaineer's first-ever Big 12 contest in Manhattan. Let's be sure and pack the house to show our visitors from Morgantown what Big 12 volleyball is all about!

Good Morning K-State Nation!

Today's beautiful MHK sunrise was preceded by a 6:52 a.m. text message from President Schulz informing me that the Big 12 Board of Directors has approved our new long-term ESPN/FOX contract for all 10 members! President Schulz, Commissioner Bowlsby and the entire Big 12 family have done a great job throughout this process. We emerge with a brighter conference future than ever before, while Big 12 student-athletes will receive unprecedented national exposure with this new 13-year agreement.
