ABOUT THE TEAM
Our cheer team is composed of both all-girl and co-ed stunt groups. Team members come from across Kansas and from across the country. We have a lot of fun and pride cheering on the CATS!
2014 KIDS CAMP
K-State Cheer is holding their annual Kids Camp - Wildcats Under the Sea - at the end of April. (Boys and Girls) Kids ages 4-7 will meet from 5:30pm-8:15pm on Friday, April 25, and kids ages 8-12 will meet from 9am-11:15am on Saturday, April 26.
They will learn cheers and dances from K-State Cheer and cheer during the first half of the spring game. To register, its only $40 and that includes a camp shirt, drawstring bag, and a beach ball - deadline is 8pm Wednesday, April 16. Kids don't need a ticket to attend the spring game, but parents/family members can purchase tickets through the K-State ticket office.
The K-State cheer program is looking for well-rounded athletes with cheerleading skills and ability. The K-State cheer program realizes that not all potential cheer participants have advanced tumbling or stunting skills. Be prepared to take direction and coaching during the tryout process. Do not assume that weakness or lack of skill in any one area will automatically disqualify you as a potential team member. A positive attitude and hard work ethic must be displayed at all times in order to be considered for this privilege.
Tryouts for the 2014-2015 Season will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
