Mission in Compliance Services

It is the responsibility of the Kansas State Compliance Services Department to maintain a determined commitment to both the letter and the spirit of all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and Kansas State University regulations. Additionally, it is the charge of Compliance Services to do all things necessary to effectively ensure its commitment to the principles of fair play by all K-State coaches, athletic department staff, student-athletes, alumni, fans, and boosters. K-State Athletics is obligated to apply and adhere to all NCAA and Big 12 Conference legislation as it applies to basic athletics issues such as admissions, financial aid, eligibility, recruiting, amateurism, and benefits to student-athletes. Kansas State University is responsible for:

  • The actions of its staff members;
  • The actions of any other individual, booster or organization engaged in activities promoting the athletic interests of the institution; and
  • The protection and enhancement of the physical, educational, and personal well-being of its student-athletes.
