QUICK FACTS

Even though equestrian is the newest sport at Kansas State, it has already enjoyed its share of success. The equestrian team just made the move to Timbercreek Stables in the summer of 2010.

The facility is just east of Manhattan and will be home to the teams practices and home competitions.

Features include: 18 stalls, 22 runs, pasture space, Indoor and Outdoor arena, 2 round pens, and numerous other projects in the works for the upcoming season.

 


TIMBERCREEK STABLES

Timbercreek Stables is located just 4 miles east of Manhattan, KS. It is just 15 minutes away from the main campus of Kansas State University and the Kansas State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

The Kansas State equestrian team has full sets of show jumps and practice jumps as well as a 20x40m PVC dressage arena that is used for varsity competitions. K-State is proud to have one of the most complete and professional dressage rings among varsity teams today.

Restrooms are available for spectators. EMS will be on site at all events. All events are free to the public.

 


DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Head east of Kansas State University on Bluemont Avenue. Turn right onto Tuttle Creek Boulevard. Turn left onto Highway 24 and go about 3 miles. Turn left onto Green Valley Road. Turn right onto Elk Creek Road. Timbercreek Stables is approximately 1/2 mile down on the right hand side. Physical address: 9000 Elk Creek Road.
