K-State has seen 88 players earn All-Big 12 honors since the league’s inception.
|
Since 1993, Kansas State has won an average of nearly nine games per season, and, as a result, has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the best programs in all of college football. Since the start of the 1993 season, few programs can match Kansas State’s win total of 148 games or its winning percentage of nearly 75 percent. Kansas State’s success in the Big 12 Conference - which formed in 1996 - also possesses few peers. The Wildcats have captured four Big 12 North Division titles and participated in three Big 12 Championship games - claiming the 2003 Big 12 crown when it defeated No. 1 Oklahoma. In 2007, the Wildcats also became the fourth program in the Big 12 to reach the 60-win plateau in league games.
On an individual level, Kansas State has produced 108 all-conference performers (combined Big 8/12) and 51 All-Americans during its rise to prominence since 1993. Kansas State has also had 47 players selected in the NFL Draft over the past 18 seasons and is currently in the midst of a streak that has seen at least one Wildcat drafted in 18 straight years, currently the second-longest streak among Big 12 schools

Among the Conference Elite
The Big 12 Conference has established a consistent level of national success on the field and in the classroom as it enters its 17th season in 2012-13 and second as a 10-member leage. K-State continues to leave an indelible stamp on the Big 12 Conference, which has developed a reputation as one of, if not the premiere football conference in the nation.
A conference title, four division titles, multiple bowl games, All-Americans and national award winners are just a few reasons why K-State is among the elite in the Big 12. Since the league’s formation and under Bill Snyder’s leadership, K-State ranks third overall in Big 12 conference victories with 76. In league road games, K-State has totaled 30 wins which ranks third among current Big 12 schools.
