2016 Volleyball Season Tickets On Sale Now

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Coming off the Wildcats’ fourth trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last five years, K-State Athletics has announced season tickets for the upcoming 2016 volleyball campaign are on sale starting today, April 4.

New this season are a number of benefits exclusive to season ticket holders. These include a free $10 concession voucher after attending five home matches (one voucher per ticket), two free general admission tickets to the annual Pack the Field House match, team autographed poster after attending 12 home matches (limit one per account), and one Ahearn Fund Priority Point for each ticket purchased. Other benefits include an invitation to the season ticket holder appreciation event and ability to roll over any unused tickets for a future home match.

Season tickets start at $2 per match, with options including chairbacks ($100), reserved cat cushions ($60 for adults/$55 for youth, senior, military, faculty), and general admission bench ($50 for adults/$40 for youth, senior, military, faculty). 

Chairbacks, which are expected to sell out for the sixth consecutive season, are exclusively available to Ahearn Fund members. Interested fans who are not already members of the Ahearn Fund are encouraged to join for as little as $50. The Wildcat 4 Pack is also available for season ticket holders, which includes four general admission bench tickets for $120 – a savings of $20 per ticket. Additional seats can be added to the Wildcat 4 Pack for $30 each.

Fans are encouraged to order their season tickets by two deadlines in May and June to receive even more benefits. For those that order by the Early Bird deadline on Friday, May 20, all ticket processing fees will be waived while they will also receive a free large popcorn per account for the match against Iowa State on September 21 and two free tickets and guest passes to the Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night.

The Priority Seat Deadline is Monday, June 27, which means fans that purchase or renew their season tickets by this date will receive first priority for requested seats, based on athletic department priority point order.

Fans can purchase season tickets in a number of ways, including clicking here, calling 1-800-221-CATS or stopping by the K-State Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum.

The Wildcats have averaged more than 2,000 fans per match in each of the last three years, with the average of 2,033 in 2015 being 18th-best in Division I and the third-highest in the Big 12. K-State has ranked in the nation’s top-20 and Big 12’s top-three in attendance for four consecutive seasons.

The Wildcats’ complete regular season schedule will be released later in April, but will include two home tournaments and a home matchup against Creighton in September in addition to the eight Big 12 home matches.

Single-match tickets go on sale on Monday, August 1.

K-State, which returns 12 letterwinners and is currently in the middle of its offseason practices, hosts its annual spring tournament in Kansas City this weekend. The Wildcats will be joined by Arkansas, Arkansas State, KU, Missouri State, Nebraska-Kearney, Omaha, Rockhurst, UMKC and Wichita State at the Swinney Rec Center on the UMKC campus. Admission is free for the full day of matches, which starts at 9 a.m.
