Nick Martini, Oakland Athletics
Martini, in his first year in the Oakland Athletics organization, started the season in Triple-A Nashville before making his Major League debut with the A's on June 6 against the Texas Rangers. He was called up again on June 23, when he collected his first career Major League hit with a pinch-hit go-ahead single in the eighth inning against the Chicago White Sox. Martini was again recalled by the Athletics on July 7 and is currently on the A's roster. On July 12 at Houston, Martini had a career day as he hit leadoff and went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI. With Nashville, Martini has a slash line of .308/.415/.436 in 73 games and was named a Pacific Coast League All-Star. He is currently on a 65-game on-base streak in Triple-A, the longest by a Nashville player in the PCL era and the longest active streak in professional baseball (second-longest in pro ball since 2009). The former All-American outfielder was a seventh-round selection of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.
Evan Marshall, Cleveland Indians
Marshall has split time in 2018 with the Cleveland Indians and Triple-A Columbus. In 10 relief outings for the Indians, has allowed six earned runs in seven innings (7.71 ERA) with nine strikeouts and four walks. Marshall has a 0.66 ERA (1 ER, 13.2 IP) in 11 outings for Columbus to go with 11 strikeouts and one walk issued. Marshall was recalled to the Indians' roster on June 17 but was placed on the disabled list with right elbow inflammation on June 19. Marshall was a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.
Carlos Torres, Syracuse Chiefs (Triple-A, Washington Nationals)
Torres has split time this season between Triple-A Syracuse and the Washington Nationals. Currently on the Chiefs' roster, Torres has a 2.93 ERA (9 ER, 27.2 IP) in 22 appearances with a 2-2 record in Triple-A to go with 25 strikeouts and six walks. He has not allowed an earned run in his last five of his last six outings, including a scoreless inning of relief in his last appearance vs. Durham on July 16. Since June 20, Torres has a 2.92 ERA (4 ER, 12.1 IP) in 10 games. Torres has appeared in 10 games this season for Washington, totaling 9 2/3 innings with a 6.52 ERA (7 ER). Torres was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 15th round of the 2004 MLB Draft.
Nate Griep, Biloxi Shuckers (Double-A, Milwaukee Brewers)
Griep has advanced a level each year in his four seasons in Minor League Baseball, beginning the 2018 season with Double-A Biloxi. Griep leads the Southern League with 24 saves (27 opportunities), with the next-closest total in the league of 12. In 36 outings for the Shuckers, Griep has a 1-1 record with a 4.23 ERA (18 ER, 38.1 IP) to go with 37 strikeouts and opponents hitting .248 against him. Griep has not allowed an earned run in five of his last 10 outings for Biloxi, picking up his 24th save on July 6 at Mississippi. Griep was an eighth-round selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2015 MLB Draft.
Levi MaVorhis, Peoria Chiefs (Class-A Full Season, St. Louis Cardinals)
MaVorhis was promoted to Class-A Full Season Peoria in 2018. MaVorhis was activated from the seven-day disabled list on June 27 and earned his second win of the season on that day after throwing two innings of scoreless relief. In his first three appearances after returning from the DL, he allowed one earned run over six innings on six hits. In 19 appearances (1 start), he owns a 3-0 record with a 6.57 ERA (27 ER, 37.0 IP) and one save to go with 25 strikeouts and 11 walks.
Parker Rigler, Kannapolis Intimidators (Class-A Full Season, Chicago White Sox)
Rigler, a 31st round pick of the White Sox in 2017, was promoted to Kannapolis after spending last season with the Great Falls Voyagers (Rookie League). Rigler turned in four straight quality starts from June 22 to July 8 (all wins), allowing six earned runs over 25 2/3 innings. In his last start, Rigler went five innings and allowed five earned in a no decision. In 18 appearances this season (all starts), Rigler is 6-3 with a 4.29 ERA (45 ER, 94.1 IP) with 83 strikeouts against 39 walks. Opponents are hitting .244 against him while he owns a WHIP of 1.34.
Josh Rolette, Lake County Captains (Class-A Full Season, Cleveland Indians)
Rolette has a slash line of .239/.339/.348 with two home runs, 11 RBI in 31 games with Lake County this season. He has reached base safely in seven of his last 10 games played, hitting .267 with a homer and five RBI in that span. Rolette had a four-game hitting streak from July 7-12, including back-to-back two hit games. Rolette, who was taken in the 39th round of last year's Draft by Cleveland, appeared in just five games in 2017 for the Arizona League Indians, hitting .333 with a double and an RBI.
Jake Scudder, Hagerstown Suns (Class-A Full Season, Washington Nationals)
Scudder was promoted to the Hagerstown Suns after spending 2017 with the Auburn Doubledays (Class-A Short Season). In 48 games with the Suns this season, Scudder has a slash line of .234/.283/.383 with four home runs, 34 RBI and 14 doubles. He just ended a seven-game hitting streak in which he had nine hits (3 doubles) and has driven in a run in each of his last four games. Scudder was a 16th round selection by Washington in the 2017 MLB Draft.
Jordan Floyd, Idaho Falls Chukars (Rookie League, Kansas City Royals)
Floyd, entering his second season of Minor League Baseball, was assigned to the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League on June 12. He has a 1-0 record in four appearances with a 9.28 ERA (11 ER, 10.2 IP) with 10 strikeouts and four walks. In his last relief appearance on July 16, he tossed a perfect inning of relief with a strikeout in a 9-0 victory over Missoula. In 2017, the lefty went 2-3 with a 1.99 ERA (7 ER, 31.2 IP) in 16 appearances between the Burlington Royals and Arizona League Royals. Floyd was a 10th round selection by Kansas City in the 2017 MLB Draft.
Drew Mount, Billings Mustangs (Rookie League, Cincinnati Reds)
Mount was the only Wildcat taken in the 2018 MLB Draft, a 16th round selection by Cincinnati. Mount was assigned to the Billings Mustangs (Rookie League) of the Pioneer League. In his professional debut on June 16 against Missoula, he went 1-for-3 with an RBI. In 24 games for Billings, Mount is hitting .220 with a .270 OBP and a .354 slugging percentage to go with two homers and 21 RBI. He hit his first professional homer on June 21 at Great Falls, going 3-for-5 with four RBI. Mount has driven in nine runs in his last 10 games, including a four-RBI performance on July 6 vs. Helena. He homered on July 4, driving in two. Mount was K-State's leader in home runs, RBI, triples and steals in his one season at K-State.

Rainer Ausmus, Woodstock River Bandits (Valley Baseball League)
Playing for the Woodstock (Virginia) River Bandits, Ausmus is hitting .211 (16-for-76) with a home run, three doubles, nine RBI and 12 runs scored in 25 games. He has an on-base percentage of .378 while slugging .289 and is currently on a 10-game on-base streak with three doubles and five RBI in that stretch. Ausmus has also made three relief appearances on the mound, totaling 4 2/3 innings with six strikeouts, picking up five strikeouts over two innings in his last outing on July 15. The River Bandits are 4-28 in the North Division of the Valley Baseball League standings.

Will Brennan, Falmouth Commodores (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Brennan has a slash line of .218/.289/.226 in 28 games for the Commodores. Brennan has two doubles and scored 12 runs with five runs batted in and nine walks to go with eight steals. He has reached base safely in nine of his last 10 games, driving in four with three multi-hit games in that span. The Commodores have won eight of their last 10 games and have a record of 15-14-1 in the West Division of the Cape Cod League.
Caleb Littlejim, El Dorado Broncos (Jayhawk League)
Littlejim owns a slash line of .260/.364/.315 to go with two doubles, a triple, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored in 18 games for the Broncos. Playing primarily at shortstop, Littlejim has recorded multiple hits in four of his last 10 games, with a double, triple and 10 RBI in that span. He has 10 hits over his last 10 games, including a 3-for-5 effort with a double and two runs scored on June 26 in a 10-3 win over Cotuit. Thompson has scored seven times with two RBI and 11 walks this season. Thompson last played on July 8 and the Mariners are 13-17-1 in the East Division of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Jordan Maxson, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)
Maxson is hitting .268 (30-for-112) with eight doubles, a triple and 16 RBI in 33 games for the Mustangs. Maxson has a .368 OBP while slugging .357, drawing 19 walks over his 33 games played. On July 13, he went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple and an RBI in a 10-8 victory over Clarinda. He has five multi-hit efforts in his last 10 games, including three, three-hit games. He has helped St. Joseph to a 17-19 record in the MINK North Division.
Brett Owen, Matsu Miners (Alaska Baseball League)
Owen is hitting .129 (4-for-31) over his first 15 games for the Miners of the Alaska Baseball League. Owen has a pair of RBI, scored five runs and drawn eight walks in helping Matsu to the top of the Alaska League standings with a 19-12 record.
Jaxon Passino, Woodstock River Bandits (Valley Baseball League)
Playing for the Woodstock (Virginia) River Bandits, Passino is hitting .200 with a .241 on-base percentage and a .200 slugging percentage with three RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base. Passino last played on June 17, scoring two runs and driving in two in a doubleheader with the Strasburg Express. He also made one relief appearance, going two innings and allowing one earned run with a strikeout.
Terrence Spurlin, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)
Spurlin earned an all-star nod and has posted a slash line of .326/.376/.512 to go with 12 doubles, four homers and 23 runs batted in.
