Former Wildcat Streb Ready for Masters Return

MANHATTAN, Kan. – For the second-straight year, former Kansas State men’s golfer Robert Streb will participate in the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, beginning with practice rounds on Monday and Tuesday.

Streb, who qualified for this year’s event by reaching the previous year’s season-ending Tour Championship, will look to avenge his performance in the 2015 edition of the Masters when he missed the cut after carding rounds of 8-over par 80 and 4-over par 76.

A K-State letterwinner from 2006-09, Streb finished the 2015 season ranked 18th in the FedExCup thanks to nine top-10 finishes, including a victory in The McGladrey Classic and a second-place finish in The Greenbrier Classic. The Edmond, Oklahoma, product currently ranks 101st in the FedExCup with two top-25 finishes in the 2016 season. He tied for 25th at The RSM Classic in November, while he tied for 18th at the Famers Insurance Open in January.
