K-State still leads the all-time series with Nebraska, 122-93... The 215 meetings are the third-most against one opponent in K-State history, while the 122 wins are the second-most against one foe... The Huskers are now 60-34 in games played at home, including wins in 10 of the last 13 meetings... K-State is 14-12 in the series since the inception of the Big 12, but just 3-10 in that span in Lincoln... The Wildcats’ last win in Lincoln came on March 1, 2006 in a 66-64 victory... The team is 0-3 in Big 12 play for the first time since the 2000-01 season.

 

The Wildcats’ starting lineup was sophomore guard Jacob Pullen, junior guard Denis Clemente, junior guard Chris Merriewether, redshirt freshman forward Jamar Samuels and junior forward Luis Coln... This marks the first time that K-State has used this line-up... Pullen has the longest active games played streak, seeing time in 50 straight games (all games in his career)... He also has the longest active starting streak, along with Colon, at 17 consecutive games.

 

With the loss, Kansas State fell to 360-302 (.545) all-time in the month of January, including wins in 18 of its last 29 games dating back to 2006... It’s the team’s first three-game losing skid since January 2007.

 

The 51 points are the fewest scored by the Wildcats this season, surpassing the 53 against Oklahoma (1/10)... It was the fewest points since scoring just 48 against California (11/29/06)... It was the fewest in a Big 12 contest since scoring just 42 against Nebraska (1/11/06) at home... The team registered a season-low 17 field goals, surpassing the previous low of 18 against Oklahoma (1/10).

 

It marked the fourth time the Wildcats have allowed 70 or more points... K-State is now 0-4 in those contests.

 

Kansas State out-rebounded Nebraska, 33-22... It marked the 11th consecutive game that the team has out-rebounded its opponent... The team has out-rebounded its opponent in 15 of 17 games.

 

Kansas State had two players score in double figures led by Denis Clemente’s 14 points... Clemente has now scored in double figures nine times this season... Darren Kent also registered double figures with 10 points... He has scored at least 10 points in seven contests... It ties for the fewest double-digit scorers (two vs. Oklahoma).

 

The 24 turnovers were a season-high for Kansas State, surpassing the 20 against Cleveland State (11/22/08), Oregon (12/7/08) and Oklahoma (1/10)...
