Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State Quotes
Head Coach Travis Ford
Opening Statement...
"I am proud of our effort. We got a lot of contributions from a lot of people that haven't played much. We were down one young man who plays 30 minutes a game for us. Against a team that pressures like that we were concerned. We got great contributions from Keiton Page at the point guard position, which he has not played one time this year. We got a great contribution from Nick Sidorakis who has been averaging three to four minutes a game. We told our guys last night that we need to try and win every possession and that literally is what we did. I am proud of our effort, our zone helped us out a lot today and that's something that we haven't played a lot of and it enabled us to have some success."

 On his teams' gritting preformance...
"We were very gutsy, we had to be. Marshall (Moses) fouls out, Ray Penn is not playing, and I thought Keiton Page was going to pass out. He wanted a break but I didn't have anybody to put in for him.  I really truly believe this, I told (Jacob) Pullen this and they are a Final Four team. I think they have the pieces to do it, they have the depth and I think Frank (Martin) is a great coach. They are a really good basketball team. I kept telling our team that we beat a really good team today on the road. You can feel good for about an hour but then you have to forget about it, because every night is going to be a war, as you can tell."

On his teams' defense against K-State's guards...
"We played a lot of zone but we tried to shade to them as much as possible. Our concern was to take away the paint as much as possible and try to challenge shots as much as possible. I thought our press did not create a bunch of turnover but it helped to slow down the game a little bit. Our press is not a full-court, man-to-man press: it's desgined to stun people, bait people, and to get teams to think. Then we get back in our zone and hope that they miss a few shots."

Sophomore, Guard, Keiton Page
On getting this win at Kansas State...
"You've got to give credit to K-State. I mean obviously they are a great team and they are a Top 10 team. They knocked off Texas last week but I mean in the Big 12 anything can happen.  This year or really most years, the Big 12 is really deep and this kind of game explains it all tonight."

On the environment when playing at Kansas State...
"If I had to say it, I'd say that this is the toughest place I've played. This environment and this atmosphere is a really tough place to play. We just came in and played good defense and we rebounded well. That's what we stress in practice every day. Our defense and our rebounding are going to win us games and that's what we tried to do tonight."
