Hamor and Foltz Added to Development Staff

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State Athletics Director Tim Weiser and Associate Athletics Director for Development Kurt McGuffin announced the addition of Andrew Hamor and Brett Foltz to the department’s development staff.


Hamor, a 2003 (B.S. Finance) and 2005 (M.S. College Student Personnel) Kansas State graduate, was hired as an assistant director of development for annual giving, while Foltz, a 2005 (B.S. Advertising) and 2007 (M.S. College Student Personnel) K-State grad, has been named an assistant director of development for special events.


“Andrew and Brett are two great additions to our development staff,” said McGuffin. “Andrew has consistently demonstrated an ability to effectively interact with our coaches, staff and student-athletes in his previous role and I believe he will continue the positive momentum of our fund-raising efforts.  Brett’s familiarity with K-State and his extensive experience within the athletics department will also be a tremendous asset to our development staff.”


In his new role, Hamor will oversee the annual giving programs for Kansas State Athletics including parking and premium seating areas. His duties include managing the donor benefits structure including all ticket, parking and special events benefits. He will also develop all annual fund marketing and outreach efforts, assist with major gift efforts and provide game day hospitality. Prior to his appointment, Hamor spent the past two years as a compliance assistant under Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance David Flores.


Foltz, in his role, will oversee game day hospitality areas such as Cat Town, USA and the Wildcat Legends Room, as well as assisting with Catbacker clubs and special events. His duties also include developing, designing and editing all donor communication materials.
