Kansas State tied up the all-time series with Texas Tech, 12-12... The Wildcats are now 8-3 in the series at home... Their last win at home over Texas Tech was a 68-44 victory on January 11th, 2003... The victory on Wednesday evening snapped a six-game losing streak to Texas Tech... Kansas State moved to 14-2 at home this season... The attendance in Bramlage Coliseum was 9,941.


The Wildcats’ starting line-up included sophomore guard Jacob Pullen, junior guard Denis Clemente, sophomore forward Dominique Sutton, senior forward Darren Kent and junior forward Luis Coln... Kansas State has used this line-up in 21-of-24 games, including the first 10 this season... K-State has posted a 15-6 record with this line-up... Pullen has the longest active games played streak, seeing time in all 57 games in his career... He also has the longest active starting streak, along with Colon, at 24 consecutive games.


Kansas State pushed its winning streak to six games on Wednesday evening... The last time the Wildcats tallied a six-game win streak during conference play was during the 2006-2007 season from January 13 at Missouri until a victory on February 3 at Texas.


Wednesday’s win marked the first time in the Big 12 era that Kansas State has defeated Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech in the same season.


Kansas State out-rebounded Texas Tech 34-26 on Wednesday evening... It marked the 18th time this season that the Wildcats have pulled down more boards then their opponent... The Wildcats did grab 11 offensive rebounds, converting those into 11 second-chance points... Junior Luis Coln led the squad with nine rebounds.


Senior Darren Kent led four players in double figures with 18 points... It marked the second time he led the Wildcats in scoring this season... He also pulled down six rebounds... The last time the Wildcats had at least four players in double digits was on February 3 when they defeated Iowa State... Kansas State has accomplished this feat 12 times this season.


Junior Denis Clemente scored in double figures for the team-best 16th time with 15 points against the Red Raiders... Clemente has posted double figures in nine of the 10 league games... Sophomore Jacob Pullen also added 12 points posting double figures for his team-tying 16th time... Kansas State is now 11-0 this season when both Clemente and Pullen score in double figures, while the team is 13-2 when two of its three primary guards score in double figures... Sophomore Dominique Sutton also added 12 points, scoring in double figures for the ninth time this season.


Kansas State led for the fifth straight game at the half, 49-25... The 49 points the Wildcats scored in the first frame were the most they have scored in any half of a conference match this season... The team is now 16-1 when leading the half... It marked the 10th time this season that the Wildcats have held an opponent to 25 points or less in a first half... The Wildcats shot an impressive 51.4-percent from the floor, while holding Texas Tech to 40.0-percent from the field... Sophomore Dominique Sutton led all scorers with 11 points in the first half... For the second consecutive game, senior Darren Kent led all players with five rebounds in the opening half.


The Wildcats dished out an impressive 23 assists on Wednesday night... They are now 14-0 when they out-assist their opponents... Jacob Pullen led the team with six assists, while only committing one turnover.


Chris Merriewether had a notable evening, posting a career-high five points in 16... He also pulled down four rebounds, dished out two assists, and forced one steal.
