Postgame Notes

The Wildcats’ starting lineup Wednesday evening consisted of sophomore Ashley Sweat, junior Shalee Lehning, senior Kimberly Dietz, sophomore Kari Kincaid and junior Marlies Gipson... Lehning started her 87th consecutive game, while Dietz started her 59th straight game (83rd overall) and Sweat her 57th... Kincaid started for the 14th time in her career (all consecutive) while Gipson started for the 74th time in her career (24th consecutive)... It marked the 15th-straight contest that the lineup was used this season and 15th overall... The lineup is now 13-2 with the win.

Oklahoma leads the all-time series over the Wildcats 25-23... The Sooners have won the past five meetings between the two schools as the Wildcats have not defeated OU since a 74-65 victory on Jan. 31, 2004 in Manhattan.

Kansas State held a 10-point advantage at halftime, leading the Sooners 38-28... K-State edged OU in shooting percentage at the half as the Cats connected on 12-of-28 shots (42.9 percent) while the Sooners were true on 11-of-26 shots (42.3 percent)... K-State also hit 4-of-11 (36.4 percent) shots from behind the arc... K-State’s biggest lead of the half was 12... Kansas State dropped to 16-2 this season when leading at halftime.

K-State has now held the lead at the half in eight of its 12 conference games.

The Wildcats went on a 19-8 run over a span of 6:31 towards the end of the first half... The Cats hit three of their four first half three-pointers during this span and were also 6-for-6 on free throws, all by Sweat.

Kansas State forced 22 Oklahoma turnovers, the sixth time this season a K-State opponent has had 20 or more turnovers... The Wildcats scored 23 points off the Sooner miscues.

Oklahoma won the battle on the boards, out-rebounding the Wildcats 34-26... It was the fewest rebounds the Wildcats have collected all season.

Gipson added 13 on 5-of-12 shooting... It was her eighth double-digit scoring effort in the past nine games.

Lehning tallied 10 points, four steals and nine assists... Her four steals gives her 172 for her career, passing Shanele Stires (1992-95) for ninth all-time at K-State... Lehning has now scored in 44 consecutive games.

Sweat scored a season-high 25 points to continue her streak of 59 consecutive games of scoring... She was 7-for-15 from the floor, including a season-high tying three makes from three-point range... It was her third 20-point game this season and the seventh of her career.
