The Wildcats’ starting lineup on Monday night was senior guard Blake Young, senior guard Clent Stewart, junior forward Andre Gilbert, freshman forward Bill Walker and freshman forward Michael Beasley... Beasley and Young are the only two Wildcats to start in every game this season... Young has now played in 62 consecutive games... K-State falls to 6-2 when featuring this lineup.

The 30-point effort was Beasley’s 11th, making him Kansas State’s all-time leader in 30-point games after passing Bob Boozer’s career mark of 10... Beasley had made 23 straight free throws dating back to the Nebraska game until missing late in the contest... Beasley added a pair of assists and a steal in 37 minutes.

 

Pullen finished as Kansas State’s second leading scoring, pouring in 19 points in 28 minutes... The freshman guard was 5-for-9 from three-point range and dished out 4 assists in the contest... His seven made field goals, five made three-pointers and three steals all tied career-highs... This marks the 15th game in which Pullen has scored in double-figures.
