Saturday’s matchup between Kansas State and Texas A&M was the 16th in the series...Kansas State holds the advantage in the series 11-5 and are 5-2 in Manhattan against the Aggies... The Wildcats ended a 14-game home court winning streak and are now 12-1 in Bramlage this season.


The Wildcats’ starting lineup consisted of: senior guard Shalee Lehning, junior guard Kari Kincaid, senior forward Marlies Gipson, senior forward Danielle Zanotti and junior forward Ashley Sweat... This was the 21st time this lineup has been used this season... Shalee Lehning made her 117th career start on Sunday, tying her for fourth in school history with Eileen Feeney (1976-80; 117)... This was also the 124th career game for Lehning, tying her with Claire Coggins (2003-07; 124) and Danielle Zanotti for ninth in school history... Marlies Gipson made the 109th start of her career on Sunday... Sweat has started 78 games in her career, including 73 straight... Zanotti has 65 starts and 124 career games played... Kincaid has tallied 48 starts in her career.


The attendance at Bramlage Coliseum for the contest was 6,089... After 13 home games this season, Kansas State is averaging 4,699 fans for the season... The 12-1 home record for the Cats is the best since 2002-03 when they were 13-0.


K-State gave up 71 points on Saturday... It was the second time this season a K-State opponent has scored 70 or more points. The last time K-State allowed more than 70 points was Feb. 15, 2009 against Oklahoma State.


Kansas State trailed at the half on Sunday, 38-21... This was the largest halftime deficit of the season for K-State... This was the highest point total allowed in a first half since March 25, 2008 against Louisville (41) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament... The Wildcats are 3-3 when trailing at the half this season.


The Wildcats have hit at least one 3-point field goal in 69 straight games... K-State made five three-point field goals on Saturday. This is the 18th time this season K-State has hit five or more 3-point field goals as a team...

Ashley Sweat registered 12 points and seven rebounds... Sweat now ranks 17th on the K-State all-time scoring list with 1,198 career points... This was the 25th time this season she has scored in double figures and the 67th in her career... Sweat has now scored in 94 consecutive games, which is every game of her K-State career... She led K-State in scoring for the 18th time this season and the 33rd time in her career... She has been the leading scorer more than any other player on K-State’s roster.


Marlies Gipson finished the afternoon with 12 points, five rebounds and three blocks... She now ranks 17th on the career scoring list at K-State with 1,198 points... With her rebounding effort on Sunday, Gipson now has 768 for her career... Gipson has now scored in double figures in 20 games this season and 71 in her career.


Shalee Lehning finished Sunday’s game with five points, three rebounds and four assists...Her first assist of the afternoon at 18:45 of the first half on Danielle Zanotti’s three-point field goal was the 750th of her career... Her career assist total now stands at 753 and her season total is 182... Her career rebound total is now 875.
