This is was the 189th game in the series between Kansas State and Oklahoma, a series that dates back to 1920... The Sooners lead the all-time series 102-87 (.539), but the Wildcats hold a 60-33 edge in games played in Manhattan... K-State also broke an eight-game winning streak by the Sooners in the series... The Wildcats finished out the regular season with a 13-2 home record... The win secured a No. 4 seed for the Wildcats in the Big 12 Championship, their highest seed since the inception of the Big 12... Head coach Bob Huggins is now 3-1 against Oklahoma.

The 21 wins in the regular season are the most by K-State since the 1987-88 season... That squad, which made the Elite 8, went 20-7 in the regular season.

The Wildcats are 214-82 (.723) in Bramlage Coliseum since its opening in the 1988 season... K-State is now 842-323 (.723) all-time in home games... The Wildcats have tallied an impressive 74-25 (.747) mark at home since the start of the 2001-02.

The Wildcats’ starting lineup this afternoon consisted of: seniors Lance Harris (guard), Akeem Wright (guard), and Cartier Martin (forward), as well as junior forward David Hoskins, and junior guard Clent Stewart... It is the first time this season this group has started together... Harris has now started 26 games this season and has appeared in 89 straight games... Wright has started 40 games in his career, including 19 this season and 18 straight... Martin, a fixture off the bench the past 13 games, tallied his first start since Jan. 13 at Missouri... Martin has now started 72 career games... It is the 53rd-straight start of Hoskins’ career... Stewart has started 20 games this season, including five straight.

Kansas State shot 53.2 percent (25-of-47) from the field this afternoon, the highest percentage in a conference game this season.

With a 3-point basket at 14:25, Cartier Martin has now scored in 68 consecutive games... The last time he was held scoreless in a game was Feb. 5, 2005 against Colorado... With a lay-up with 1:17 left in the game, Martin set a new career-high in points... Martin scored a career-high 30 points on 10-of-16 (62.5 percent) shooting, including 5-of-8 from behind the arc and 5-of-5 from the line... This marks the 15th straight game he has scored in double figures and the 25th time this season... He also passes Willie Murrell (1962-1964) for eighth on the school’s career 20-point games list... He has now nailed at least three-point field goals in 13 games this season, and has connected on 165 career three-pointers... He has led the Wildcats in scoring 13 times and 34 times in his career.

Martin’s three at the 14:25 mark of the first half was the 312th-consecutive game the Wildcats have hit a 3-point field goal.

David Hoskins tallied 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 6-of-10 from the free throw line... He also added four rebounds and four assists... He has scored in double figures in 26 of the 31 games this season, including 22 of the last 24 contests.

Lance Harris dropped in 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting... He has now scored 982 career points... It was his 16th double-figure scoring game this season... He also added three rebounds and two steals.

Kansas State is now 10-1 this season with Harris, Hoskins and Martin all scoring in double figures.  

Kansas State held a 41-22 advantage at the half, the 16th time this season the Wildcats have held an opponent below 30 points in the first half... K-State is now 15-1 this season when leading at the half... The Wildcats were 14-of-28 (50.0 percent) from the field in the first half, just the sixth time during conference play that K-State has connected on at least 50 percent of its field goal attempts in a half... The K-State defense was up to the challenge in the opening half, limiting the Sooners to just 35.3 percent (6-of-17) from the field... Martin scored 13 of his game-high 30 points in the first frame.

The Wildcats dished out 21 assists on 25 made field goals... It was the seventh time this year that the Wildcats have recorded 20 or more dimes.

This afternoon’s attendance was a sellout crowd of 13,340... It was the fifth sellout this season for the Wildcats... In its 15 home regular season games this season, Kansas State averaged 12,479 fans per game.
