Athletics to Assist Students with Move-In

MANHATTAN, Kan. - As the beginning of the fall semester nears, approximately 75 Wildcat student-athletes and athletics department staff members will be providing assistance to incoming K-State students who are moving into their respective residence halls on campus beginning August 16.

"We are privileged to have such a loyal and engaged student body here at K-State," said Athletics Director John Currie. "Our students are an integral part of our success and home field advantage and assisting them as they move into their residence halls is just one small way for us to give back and reciprocate our sincere appreciation."

Student-athletes and department staff, who will be identifiable by t-shirts provided by Varney's, will be spread out over several residence halls and begin assisting with move-ins on Sunday, August 16, at Ford Hall. They also will provide shifts on Friday, August 21, at Goodnow and Marlatt Halls and Saturday, August 22, at Moore and Haymaker Halls.
