MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State Athletics has announced new customer service initiatives to better serve Wildcat fans, highlighted by a new mobile ticketing option and a Pick-Your-Own Seat football map for purchasing tickets.

Tickets for all Wildcat sports are available via K-State Athletics’ mobile site, which will allow for seamless navigation and a faster mobile/web experience. Standard ticket delivery options -- mail, Will Call and Print-at-Home – are also available for the mobile purchasing option.

Also new for this year is a Pick-Your-Own Seat football map on the main ticket office home page which will allow fans to see all available inventory for “bench” seats online and select their favorite seats.  This new feature, which will not include premium seating areas, will quickly provide fans with general availability for areas and allow for specific seats to be chosen and purchased.

Fans are also reminded of the Powercat Ticket Exchange service online, the department’s official secondary marketplace which helps ensure that all seats are filled on K-State gamedays. All football season ticket holders and Ahearn Fund members have free membership access to the football exchange site which is a $25 value. Beginning this year on Powercat Exchange, east club and pledge season ticket holders will also now have access to sell their season tickets on the exchange.

Ticket sales for the 2012 football season are reaching unprecedented levels, with the fourth annual K-State Family Reunion game against Missouri State and North Texas game already sold out. Limited quantities remain for the KU, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Texas games, while good seats are available for the highly-anticipated matchup with Miami on September 8. The season opener against Missouri State will air live exclusively on K-StateHD.TV.

The Miami game will mark the fourth non-conference BCS opponent to enter Bill Snyder Family Stadium since 2002 as the Cats entertained UCLA in 2010, faced off against No. 8 Louisville in 2006 and No. 11 USC in 2002. Tickets to the matchup with the Hurricanes are $75 each, while $20 tickets for K-State Alumni Association members and a four-pack for $99 highlight options for the Texas Tech game. To order tickets, or for more information, fans can visit kstatesports.com or call 1.800.221.CATS.
