Coach Bill Snyder Highway Unveiled

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Travelers heading into Manhattan will soon notice a new name to stretches of highway on US-24 and K-177 as the Coach Bill Snyder Highway was officially dedicated at a ceremony at Bosco Plaza on the campus of Kansas State University.

Governor Katlheen Sebelius and Representative Ed O'Malley were both on hand for the ceremony, along with family members of the longtime football coach at K-State. The highway signs will be located north of Manhattan just to the north of the entrance to the Tuttle Creek Visitor's Center and also just north of the Geary/Riley County line south of town on K-177.
