Tickets available for Hall of Fame banquet

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The 2006 class of the Kansas State Athletics Hall of Fame will be honored during a dinner and induction ceremony at Bramlage Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 6, Athletics Department officials announced Monday.

The class of 2006 includes Wildcat basketball legends Chuckie Williams (1973-76) and Ed Nealy (1979-82) along with track and field greats Jerome Howe (1969-72), Gwen Wentland-Mikinski (1991-95) and Ivan Riley (1921-23) and long-time supporters Bob and Betty Tointon.

Tickets for the dinner and induction ceremony, which begins at 6 p.m., are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling the K-State Athletics Department at (785) 532-6912.

The induction class will also be honored during halftime of Kansas State's Big 12 Conference home opener vs. Oklahoma State on Saturday, Oct. 7.
