Texas A&M Player Quotes

Junior Quarterback Jarrod Johnson

His thoughts on the game...
"We just got out-played tonight. I didn't think we played well on offense or defense and we turned the ball over too many times. We are not going to win games playing like we did tonight."

On taking away positives from the loss...
"I'm not big on moral victories. We obviously have some things' that we need to improve on. Anytime you lose like we did tonight, there is nothing positive about it. I'm not sure what happened to us. I'm not sure why we played the way we did tonight but we are going to go back, look at the film and see what we need to improve on. We need to move on and focus on getting a win next weekend against Texas Tech."

On the Aggies's struggles tonight...
"When things started to go bad, it seemed like they just got worse. I'm not sure what happened to us tonight. K-State played well tonight; they dominated us in all aspects of the game and if that happens, you can't expect to win.  Coming into tonight, we had a lot of confidence in ourselves but for whatever reason, we didn't play the way we are capable. We took a pretty good shot on the chin tonight but we have bounce back and get ready for next weekend. "

Junior Defense End Von Miller

On his thoughts on the game ...
"I thought that we had a good week of practice, I thought we were ready to play tonight but I guess we were just the wrong frame of mind.  I don't think that we played as well as we did last week, I'm really not sure what happened tonight.  I honestly can't explain why we play the way we did."

On handling the adversity from tonight...
"We just have to go back, look at the film and see what we need to improve on. We build on the positive things that we did tonight and correct the negative things that we did tonight. We will spend half a day on this loss and then move on to thinking about Texas Tech.."

On the K-State offense...
"They had some really good field position early on but our job is to keep them out of the end zone. We knew what they were going to do and I thought that we had a good game-plan in place.  I just can't explain why we played the way we did tonight. We really didn't see this loss coming. "
