WILDCAT INVITATIONAL MEET INFORMATION

             Saturday, January 31, 2009        

                 

             Friday Combined events begin at 10:00am. Field events begin at 3:00 p.m

             Saturday Combined events begin at 10:00am. Field Events begin at 1:00 p.m., Track Events at 2:30 p.m.

 

Place:      All events will be held in Ahearn Field House on the Ward Haylett Track.

            Our track surface is Rekortan and the shot put ring is concrete.

 

Entry Fee: $15 per individual, or $150 maximum per team, per gender.

Entries:
    Entries must be done ON-LINE.  Entries will be accepted beginning Monday,

            January 19, 2009 and must be declared by 12:00 (noon) Wednesday,

            January 28th.  Additions and changes may be made up until 12:00 (noon),

            January 28th.  All Declarations are to be made on-line.  All Declarations are

            final as of 12:00 (noon) Wednesday, January 28th.  Please follow these

            directions.

 

ONLY TOP 12 COMBINED EVENT MARKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE FAX MARK VERIFICATION FOR ENTRY. ACCEPTED COMBINED EVENT ENTRIES WILL BE EMAILED WED. AFTERNOON (28TH). MAKE SURE THE E-MAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR ENTRY IS WORKING

 

New NCAA Rule: Section 1. Misconduct: Misconduct is any act of dishonesty, unsportsmanlike conduct, unprofessional behavior or breach of law occurring at the locale of the competition or warm-up, that discredits the event or intercollegiate athletics. Misconduct includes the intentional reporting of false marks for entry purposes. Acts of misconduct are subject to reprimand or ejection by the referee or meet management.

 

 

Acceptable Entries: All marks must be verifiable. Only marks from this season or last season will be accepted. No high school marks will be accepted. All others should be entered as NM (no mark).

Weight Implements: Soft shell weights only will be used.

 

Weigh-In of Implements: Begins 1-1/2 hours and ends 30 minutes prior to start of first throwing event. Weigh-In will be located in the Northeast corner of the Field House.

 

Results: Results will be available at the conclusion of the meet.
