MEET INFORMATION

 

DATE & TIME:                    Saturday, May 9, 2009

                                                Field Events begin at 11:00;  Track Events begin at 3:00 p.m.

 

PLACE: R.V. Christian Track

                                8 42” lanes (Rekortan surface)

                                Brushed concrete throwing rings

                                Rekortan runways and apron

 

TEAM SCORING:               No team scoring will be kept.

 

RESTAURANTS & MOTELS:         Listings are enclosed as well as maps of the Campus and Manhattan.

 

ENTRIES:             Entries must be done ON-LINE.  Entries will be accepted beginning on Monday, April 27th, 2009, and must be declared by 12:00 (Noon) Wednesday, May 6th.  Additions and

changes may be made up until 12:00 (Noon) May 6th.  All declarations are to be made

ON-LINE.  All declarations are final as of 12:00 (Noon) Wednesday, May 6th.  Please

follow these directions.

 

New NCAA Rule: Section 1. Misconduct: Misconduct is any act of dishonesty, unsportsmanlike conduct, unprofessional behavior or breach of law occurring at the locale of the competition or warm-up, that discredits the event or intercollegiate athletics. Misconduct includes the intentional reporting of false marks for entry purposes. Acts of misconduct are subject to reprimand or ejection by the referee or meet management.

 

Acceptable Entries: All marks must be verifiable. Only marks from this season or last season will be accepted. No high school marks will be accepted. All others should be entered as NM (no mark).

CONFIRMATIONS:   Coaches will be able to view final roster on-line Thursday, May 7th.  All entries are final on this date.

                                               

WEIGH-IN OF IMPLEMENTS:  Begins 2 hours and ends 30 minutes prior to start of first throwing event.

 

RESULTS:   Results will be available at the conclusion of the meet.
