Wildcats Participate in Adopt a Family

MANHATTAN, Kan. In the spirit of the holiday season, Kansas State student-athletes, coaches and staff have donated money to purchase gifts for three area families through the Flint Hills Breadbasket Adopt a Family program.

Each Wildcat team was responsible for purchasing Christmas gifts for one family member. The event is organized through the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), who met on December 11 to wrap all of the gifts before delivering the packages to the Flint Hills Breadbasket on Friday.

The Adopt a Family program is just one of many community service projects that allow Kansas State student-athletes to give back to the community in a positive and influential way. Year after year, these experiences have proven to be positive and memorable for all participating.
