K-State Finalizes 2016-17 WBB TV Schedule
MANHATTAN, Kansas – For the sixth consecutive season, all K-State home women’s basketball games will be televised by K-State’s broadcast partners of FOX Sports, ESPN3, K-StateHD.TV or Cox Channel Kansas. In combination with the four selections by the Big 12 Conference television partners, Kansas State will have 23 games broadcast this season on television and digital platforms.
The first meeting of the Dillons Sunflower Showdown against Kansas in Bramlage Coliseum on Wednesday, Jan. 11 will be broadcast at 7 p.m., by Cox Channel Kansas within the state of Kansas and will be available worldwide on ESPN3 and K-StateHD.TV.
A second game broadcast by COX Channel Kansas/ESPN3/K-StateHD.TV will be against defending Big 12 champion Baylor on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
K-State will play five games this season exclusively on ESPN3. The five games are: Monday, Nov. 14, against Tulsa at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, against Lamar at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, against Princeton at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, against Texas Tech at 7 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 27, against Texas at 7 p.m. ESPN3 is available in more than 99 million homes via the popular Watch ESPN App, ESPN.com, and over-the-top streaming devices such as Chromecast, Apple TV, Xbox, PS Vue and Roku.
The Wildcats will have four games broadcast by FOX College Sports (FCS) and produced by K-StateHD.TV this season. These games will be available to a national audience on cable and satellite packages and to K-StateHD.TV subscribers. The first game to air on FCS will be the exhibition game against Washburn on Friday, Nov. 4 at 5:30 p.m.
The remainder of the FCS schedule unfolds as follows: Wednesday, Dec. 7, against UT Arlington at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, against TCU at 7 p.m., and Tuesday, Feb. 21, against Oklahoma at 7 p.m.
When playing on the FOX Sports family of networks, Kansas State owns an all-time record of 91-68 (.572).
The Wildcats will also play three games on COX Channel Kansas and produced by K-StateHD.TV. The games are: the exhibition game against Newman on Monday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m., the SEC/Big 12 Challenge matchup against Auburn on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., and the Big 12 home opener on Sunday, Jan. 1, against West Virginia at 1 p.m. The games will also be available to K-StateHD.TV subscribers.
The Wildcats will also play one game exclusively on K-StateHD.TV in 2016-17, on Friday, Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m., against Chicago State.

In addition to the home games on television, K-State will have four of its road games broadcast this season. The Wildcats’ Big 12 opener at Baylor on Thursday, Dec. 29, will be available on FS+ at 7 p.m.
K-State will play a second game on FS+ this season, as its contest at Texas Tech on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. will air on the channel.
K-State’s game at Oklahoma State on Saturday, January 14, will be broadcast by FS Oklahoma and tip-off at 4 p.m., and the Wildcats’ game at Texas on Saturday, Feb. 4, will be aired by the Longhorn Network at 7 p.m.
Ticket packages are available on Saturday, Sept. 17 for the K-State-Connecticut matchup. A $20 chairback ticket package that includes an exclusive t-shirt is available until Tuesday, December 1 or while supplies last. A $38 Wildcat 4 Pack is another affordable option and includes four general admission tickets and four $10 concessions vouchers.
General admission, bench and Cat Cushion tickets are available for just $3, a savings of $5, until Saturday, October 1, and for only $5 from October 3 until gameday, December 11. Any remaining tickets will be sold on gameday at regular price: $12 for chairback, $9 for Cat Cushion, $8 for adult general admission and $5 for youth, military and senior citizens.

For the 2016-17 season, K-State head coach Jeff Mittie returns nine letter winners from the 2015-16 squad that reached the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats will be led into the 2016-17 season by 2016 All-Big 12 First Team selection and two-time Big 12 All-Defensive Team honoree Breanna Lewis and 2016 All-Big 12 Second Team selection Kindred Wesemann. Overall, K-State returns 75 percent of its scoring and assists and 87 percent of its rebounding.
In addition to the returning letter winners, Kansas State welcomes in five newcomers for the 2016-17 season including: junior guard Karyla Middlebrook (Blue Springs, Missouri), redshirt freshman forward Lanie Page (Wamego, Kansas), freshman guard Mercedes Brooks (Wichita Falls, Texas), freshman forward Peyton Williams (Topeka, Kansas) and freshman forward Eternati Willock (Scarborough, Ontario, Canada).
